As you can probably tell, I’ve been rather slack when it comes to my blog for the past week, however that was partly an error with the server that was out of my control, and it seems that all is well again.
Having looked at fellow Twitter-ers update the design of their blog, as well as some of my friends in my not so risque world, I’m feeling like my blog needs a facelift. It has been the current design since the beginning, and I feel that it needs a change, a splash of colour, and maybe a slightly new layout.
I feel that the site needs a banner that describes both M and myself, and the fact that we share our sex secrets.
As for colour choices, I haven’t really decided anything, but I’m thinking of basing it around a bright red for ‘lust’ and ‘passion’, but also maybe going from a light coloured theme as it is now to a darker one, with reds and pinks over a black background.
I’m still really open to ideas and suggestions, so if you have any I would love to hear them.
I am the same as you always struggling with this kind of thing. After looking around at different blogs there does seem to be a tendency to have white writing on a black or very dark background. I am not a huge fan of this although my current blog is like that!!!!
Personally red and black together to me seems a little tacky especially when dealing with sex. Maybe think about the colours your boudoir is or what you would have it if you could have whatever you want.
