Job Hunting

I know that this post isn’t really about sex, but I need to get it off my chest, and would rather use my blog than Facebook.

I’ve been in the job market for all of about 36 hours, and I have been offered an interview for later today.  I really don’t know what to make of it, being so quick.

I wasn’t really expecting to get a job interview as quick as I did, maybe in a week or two, but not 24 hours.

I’m nervous as always before an interview, and I’m not really sure how badly I want this job.  Mainly because where I work being so small, I really need to give my boss time to make some arrangements for my lack of presence.  Mainly because I am the one who mentors all the students, and the one who does the majority of the work.

How do you transition away from being the one who virtually makes the business work, to a new job?  Or do I just leave and let my boss work out how to make that transition himself?
